evea skincare was created by women who share a love of natural beauty products, Mithu Sherin and Sue Dillon. Inspired by personal experiences, they pursued the development of a potent anti-inflammatory skin cream made with natural ingredients to treat skin conditions.  The ingredients work at a cellular level to address aging and environmental stress that damages skin.  

While Mithu has a science and patent background, her fascination with skincare began in early childhood when her mother taught her how to use homemade herbal masks and ayruvedic therapies to treat all skin maladies. The natural aromatics and herbs were soothing while powerful and healing. Her two young daughters now follow their mother’s path to help forge new skincare products for all of us.

Sue’s journey researching skincare began in her forties, as an avid sports woman who spent much time outdoors she began to see that environmental stress was starting to take a toll. The loss of moisture, lack of elasticity, and dull skin set her on a path to find greater skin protection from harsh chemicals, over-exposure to the sun, and to challenge the empty promises of products that don’t work.

Together, Mithu and Sue share a vision for evea that focuses on potent natural antioxidants, herbs, oils and algae that match the power of any dermatological product in the marketplace.

evea’s Microalgae -7 formulation evolved from extracting the highest quality of algae oils and antioxidants by scientists Dr. Ravi Pottathil and Dr. Pat Dillon. Their combined 75 years of experience in research and development in the medical and algae fields, with expertise in formulations, chemistry, and biology makes our product unique.

After screening a large number of microalgae strains, Dr. Pottathil selected a strain that optimized fast growth and extraction conditions.  This proprietary microalgae -7 extract contains astaxanthin (an antioxidant that scavenges free radicals), squalene (a lipid that boosts collagen production), omega-3 (a lipid that softens rough skin) and andrographolide (a powerful anti-inflammatory) that boosts the rejuvenating powers of pure GABA.
